The adventure begins

At this moment, Kelley and I are sitting at our gate with Kendra waiting to catch our flight to Paris. After leaving my house at 5:00 in the morning we successfully made it out of Austin and met up with Kendra. After wondering around the airport for a while and being rejected from the Delta club because Kendra isn't cool enough to fly business class we ate some food and set up camp at our gate. While sitting here I was working on setting up the wireless on my computer, we met a new "friend". I was on the phone and messing with the wireless, Kelley was playing with her itouch, and Kendra was blowing up her pillow when this random kid walks up to us. He shall be known as Creepy Boy. The conversation went as follows:

Creepy Boy: "Are you guys going to Paris?"

Kendra: "yeah, we're really excited."

Kelley: you know him

Creepy Boy: "Yeah, I'm going to go see my brother, he's in the Air Force."

Kendra: "Oh? I didn't know there were US Troops in France. Or wait, is he in the French Air Force?"

Creepy Boy: "No, but they do have that there. So what are you doing in Paris?"

Kelley: "Oh you know, backpacking. Except her (Kendra), she's studying at Oxford."

Creepy Boy: "Yeah, just make sure it's not like that movie Taken."

Kendra: "Taken? What's that?"
Creepy Boy: "Yeah, the girls fell for the hot guy who ended up leading them in to a prostitution ring."

Kelley: "Yeah! And then there's also Hostel."

Creepy Boy: "So I'm from Florida, where are you guys from?"

Kelley: "Well, we all go to school in Texas, but she (pointing to Kendra) is from Ohio. Yeah."

Creepy Boy: "Well I'm going to go try to find my gate. Have a great time in Paris! Be safe and everything."

Kelley: "Yeah...you too."

The preceding was a summary of the awkwardness and there was much more awkwardness left out.
